From March 28th: The Garner Trojans pulled out a 9-3 victory over the South Garner Titans with a 4 run 6th inning.  The Trojans were aided with 16 free passes from the Titans and a solid pitching performance from NCSU commit, Jaxon Lucas.  Early in the game, the teams traded single runs until the Trojans put up 2 in the bottom of the 4th.

NC State commit. Long, Lanky athlete who can really spin the baseball.  High-3/4 arm slot with a quick, loose arm. Smooth rhythm and a good drive towards the plate.  Landing today was a little open and hard causing him to spin off to 1B side occasionally.  Armside run on his fastball down in the zone.  Tendency for it to flatten out when it was up in the zone.  Did fill up the zone with strikes early in the game.  Hard 11/5 breaking ball that had late break.  Threw it a lot late in the game for a bunch of strikes.  Arm action was very similar to his FB which kept hitters guessing.  Fastball peaked at
