2025 Prep Baseball NC High School Coverage

North Carolina Pitcher of the Week: March 3 – March 8, 2025

After two weeks of high school baseball action, one pitcher has clearly risen above the rest. Briggs McKenzie, committed to LSU, delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday night against Rolesville, tossing a no-hitter in a 5-inning masterpiece.

McKenzie was nearly untouchable, striking out 10 batters on just 66 pitches, while allowing just 2 walks over his outing. His ability to command the zone and overpower hitters played a key role in his team’s success.

For his outstanding performance, Briggs McKenzie has been named the Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week.
