Bio-Mechanical Screening Results From Winter Combine

Bio-Mechanical screening results from New York's first ever Winter Baseball-Combine. This unique event allowed Eric Herman, PT (Buffalo Rehab Group) a chance to evaluate players athletic limitations, through seven balance / flexibility test listed below. These tests are a fantastic baseline of where each player is currently at regarding hip strength and flexibility; Low-back strength and flexibility; Areas often neglected by HS athletes, but areas where most low back- shoulder-elbow injuries originate.
A score ranging from 1 - 5 were given for each test performed. A score of 1-2 defines the player as very limited; A score of 3 defines the player as average; A score of 4 defines the player as above average; A score of 5 defines the player as excellent. A score of 35 was the maximum a player could receive, here's a glance at the numbers from our Winter-Combine.
