With conference tournaments in full swing for colleges and high school seasons winding down, things are relatively quiet on the recruiting front. The draft is just a couple weeks away and we’ll have plenty of reports for you to chew leading up to June 5, but here are a couple of notes to hold you over…

+ A strong showing last fall firmly put RHP Scott Blewett (Baker HS, NY) in the discussion for being an early draft pick, which carried over to this spring until some shoulder stiffness came up. Blewett was scratched from a couple starts and then decided to take 10 days off to see if rest would solve any problems.
