Scouting Report From September 2013
5-foot-9, 150-pounds with a thin athletic frame. In the field, he offers some softness with hands. Topped out at 76 mph across the infield. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open, balanced stance. Features a short stride with level swing. Will give you line drive production to all fields. Also, shows some good actions on the base paths. Reached a top exit velocity of 77 mph off the tee. Registered a home to first time of 4.64 seconds. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash in August of 2012. Since we last saw him, he has improved his 60 and home to first times to under 7.00 and around a 4.20.
