It happens so often as players head into spring training that they talk about being in the best shape of their lives that it has almost become a laughable occurrence.
For Andrew Yerzy, heading into the final months before his draft eligibility comes into play, the comedic nature of his newfound added strength and off-season weight loss can be found in the fact that he is in the best shape of his life with plenty of room left for growth – at just 17 years old.
