In preparation for the 2016 MLB Draft, which begins Thursday evening, we updated the PBR Draft 100 one last time. As with any update, there were plenty of changes and some names ended up on the cutting room floor. Below are five prospects you should be familiar with. These aren’t necessarily Nos. 101-105, rather they’re names that could sneak into the top five rounds or come up in that discussion after three years in college.

Cole Duensing, RHP, Blue Valley Northwest HS, KS
Duensing, who stands at a long, skinny 6-foot-4, 180 pounds, turned some heads at the Super 60 in February when he sat 91-93 mph and touched 94 with a loose, quick arm. Throughout the spring, he sat mostly in the high 80s, but was able to ramp it up into the low 90s at times. Back in February, his breaking ball was short and tight at 75-78, but he showed one in the low 70s with 11/5 action in the spring. A Kansas State recruit, teams aren’t likely to jump on him now, but he could develop into an early-round prospect with the Wildcats.
