Uncommitted 2020 Spotlight: Ayden Wood

Background: Wood, a left on left two-way senior is someone who stood out last year at our 1st PBR Canadian Spring Training in Orlando Florida. He was a leader on the field and was able to be impactful in many facets of the game. There is present strength to the frame and Wood shows athletic actions in the outfield with his 6.9 speed and loose arm, while that translates to the mound with his ability to spin his curveball with shape and depth while he worked in the 82-83 range and was up to 85 mph with his fastball. There is feel at the plate and made plenty of contact while letting his legs take over on the bases.
