Background: Ament, a left-handed hitter for the Ontario Astros, is the 13th ranked outfielder in the 2019 rankings. At the plate, it’s an aggressive approach from Ament, he begins with forward movement and then rocks back to load, it’s a clean swing and works to stay inside, he is controlled and has produced exit velocity up to 92 mph when last seen. The bat stays through the zone, and he frequently makes contact out front while being able to turn on balls with hard contact. In the outfield, Ament makes gets good use out of a 7.00 60 yard time, as he charges aggressively and is able to get to balls easily. The arm works while there is some max effort, throws were on or around the bag. Outlook: |
