Seneca  6 Powdersville  1

In game that pitted two higher profile arms in the state against each other Seneca was able to capitalize on mistakes early and often. Seneca would strike early in the 1st inning but getting the leadoff runner on base who would later come around to score on an infield error. The game would hold scoreless in the 2nd inning. Seneca would capitalize on a good bit of errors in the 3rd inning to take a commanding 4-0 lead in what felt like was the dagger with McGovern on the mound. Powdersville would have their chances throughout the last few innings but was only able to scratch a run across the board.
