QUICK HITS
Landon Richter | RHP | Legacy Ranch | 2028 | R/R
Richter is an up-and-coming arm with multiple weapons for getting hitters out. Works from a clean, repeatable delivery and sat 80-82 with the fastball, with plenty of velocity projection as he continues to mature. The breaking ball showed real bite, spinning around 2800 rpm with ~15 HM. The changeup was equally impressive, showing big arm-side run. Overall, a projectable right-hander with more than one way to win in the zone.
Chase Lyons | RHP/OF | Pieper | 2027 | R/R
Lyons is a good-looking athlete with a solid frame and athletic actions. In the outfield, he shows good feet, a compact arm path, and a playable arm (T83). At the plate, there’s strength and quickness to impact the baseball. Best when he keeps it short and compact as a gap-to-gap type. On the mound, he’s a mid-80s strike-thrower with two-way value.
Brayden Henderson | OF/RHP | Davenport | 2027 | R/R
Henderson is an athletic, physical player who should keep trending up as he adds strength. Ran a 7.14 and the speed plays in the outfield. Showed arm speed and strength (T87 OF velo). Offensively, he features a simple, flat stroke with minimal moving parts and some present bat speed. Projects as a potential top-half-of-the-order type with continued development.
Jacob Palacios | RHP | Claudia Taylor Johnson | 2027 | R/R
Palacios is a solid right-hander with a quick arm and repeatable delivery. Moves well down the mound with good body awareness. Fastball was up to 85 with late life and some arm-side run. Secondary movement is coming along, and he consistently fills the zone with three pitches. Short, quick arm with more in the tank.
Hays Ramsey | 3B/RHP | Salado | 2027 | R/R
Ramsey is a good mover with a projectable frame and developing polish on both sides. Defensively, he shows solid actions with improving rhythm and timing, plus arm strength with more to come. Comfortable throwing from multiple angles. At the plate, quick hands and a flat path with an EV up to 98.8. Tools and athleticism to keep following.
Victor Garcia | RHP | Veterans Memorial | 2026 | R/R
Garcia turned in a strong mound showing with a compact arm stroke and quick hand. Fastball sat 85-86 and he filled up the zone. Breaking ball sat 74-76 with good separation and consistent strikes, and the changeup sat 75-76. Projects as an upper-80s to low-90s strike-thrower as the secondary stuff continues to develop.
Luke Spielhagen | OF/RHP | Alamo Heights | 2027 | L/R
Spielhagen is a left-handed bat with fast hands and the ability to get the barrel out front. When the front side stays closed, he can drive the ball with pace. Athletic mover with speed and a strong arm (T87 from the outfield) and solid defensive actions. Intriguing two-way athlete.
Owen Kuhl | OF/RHP | Boerne-Samuel V. Champion | 2027 | R/R
Kuhl’s arm strength stands out. Topped 90 from the outfield and consistently sat 88-89 with carry. Shows good actions and gets quality reads off the bat. Offensively, he features a compact stroke with a through-the-middle approach, more line-drive oriented. Tools to impact the game in the outfield.
Kade Wiederhold | OF | Brenham | 2026 | R/R
Wiederhold put together quality BP rounds, showing a short stroke and the ability to stay inside the baseball. Drove balls into the RCF gap and profiles as a doubles-type hitter with feel and adjustability. Consistently produced 99-100 EV.
Lane Johnson | SS/OF | Westlake | 2027 | L/R
Johnson has a clean left-handed stroke, balanced, good weight shift, and keeps the barrel in the zone a long time. Compact swing and uses his hands well to deliver the barrel. Defensively, shows good actions on the dirt and overall athleticism, with speed/quickness that play. Also showed arm strength (T88 from the outfield). Well-rounded prospect who should be a strong pickup for the right college program.
Jagger Batek | OF/1B | Calallen | 2027 | R/R
Batek shows a polished swing with rhythm and quality barrel action, short to the ball and long through contact. Balanced and under control with present strength; topped 99.9 EV. Defensively, he offers a solid, accurate arm with workable outfield actions. Physical bat with offensive upside.
Kenny Estes | C/1B | Homeschool | 2028 | R/R
Estes is a true impact bat with loud juice. Consistently drove the ball with an average EV of 104.7, topping 109.1, and a max distance of 429 ft. Behind the plate, he popped 2.01 and showed as a solid receiver. Also moves well at first base with surprisingly quick feet for his size. High-follow offensive profile heading into the season.
Easton Hernandez | C/1B | Pieper | 2029 | R/R
Hernandez is an exciting young catcher to track. Behind the dish, he shows quick feet, a clean exchange, and gets the ball out efficiently. Topped a 1.97 to second. Offensively, he has a sound stroke with barrel accuracy and already produces 100+ EV, creating backspin through the middle. Upward-trending bat with real upside.
