Top-10 Profiles of 2020: No. 5 A.J. Vukovich
December 26, 2020
As the year starts to unwind, our staff will start to highlight the top-10 most viewed profiles from 2020 - starting at 10 and counting down.
Our fifth most viewed profile of this year was former East Troy two-sport star A.J. Vukovich. He was the top-ranked prospect in Wisconsin’s 2020 graduating class and garnered some heavy attention from our national supervisors, finishing his high school career ranked No. 61 overall in the country.
The last time we saw Vukovich was this past February at our Super 60 event and the right-handed slugger was amongst the top prospects in attendance. There, he showed off the prodigious raw power we knew him for, clobbering several baseballs throughout both his batting practice rounds - his farthest hit ball traveling 370 feet and leaving his bat at 100.16 mph.
Originally committed to Louisville, Vukovich forgoed his college commitment and signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks, who drafted him in the fourth round of last year’s draft.
