Orange County Preseason ID
The Prep Baseball Orange County Preseason ID is set for Saturday, December 27, 2025 at JSerra HS in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The event is open to all Class of 2026-2029 Prospects.
The Preseason ID begins our identification process for our biggest, invite-only events of 2026 such as the Preseason All-State, California State Games, Future Games, and more.
For Class of 2026 prospects who are still uncommitted, you still have plenty of time. This event will get your updated numbers and video in front of over 1,000 colleges who subscribe to our site. This event will hopefully help you work towards that college commitment.
Build a History of Your Progression
Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the Prep Baseball Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process.
Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community.
All player information including tech metrics, stats, videos, scouting reports and more will be hosted to the Prep Baseball Report website, bolstering the player profile, which is subscribed to by more than 1,000 colleges across the country.
Earn Your Spot in Invite-Only Events
The Preseason ID will be used to make selections for our annual invite-only events that will take place in the summer and fall.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
