2026 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely:
|
Mason Trigo 3B / SS / Buena High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 152 / POS: 11
From 4/8/25: “I’ve had several looks at Trigo where I’ve always wondered what his profile would like defensively at SS and on this day I finally got a chance to see the talented defender handle the premium defensive spot. A smooth mover at 3B who has always showed body control, soft hands and solid footwork the way Trigo moved at SS with slightly more bounce to his actions, quickness/rhythm to his feet, comfort playing one handed and even showed off slightly more arm strength to his throws from SS has me intrigued to see potentially more of him there in the future. The defensive look was not the only up arrow feeling I got from Trigo on this day, but the RH hitter put together maybe the most intriguing offensive look I’ve had at him which is saying something considering how high I am on his offensive ability. Trigo has consistently shown bat to ball with a middle of the field approach, but on this day he showed something I had not seen in a live look before which was loft with carry to the pull side. After lacing a single in front of the leftfielder Trigo got to a ball out front with some intent in his next trip to the dish which resulted in a deep drive to the LCF which came up about two feet short of a homer. That simple flash of impact to the pull side from Trigo really intrigued me as I’ve always felt there was more in the offensive tank and the more comfortable he gets with hunting damage with his swing versus simply hard contact there is real power potential for him.” |

Riley Ortega OF / Pacifica High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 255 / POS: 49
From 7/30/25: Positional Profile: OF Athletic outfielder who flashes bat speed and emerging power, paired with fluid defensive actions and above-average foot speed. |
|
Patrick Foster OF / LHP / San Marcos Senior High, CA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 111 / POS: 28
From 7/30/25: Positional Profile: OF/LHP Athletic prospect with efficient actions and a consistent line-drive swing that projects well as he adds strength. |
|
Nolan Riesenberg RHP / SS / Culver City High, CA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 71 / POS: 18
From 5/31/25: Positional Profile: RHP/SS Two-way with athletic actions and upside on both sides. |
|
Hector Anaya SS / 2B / quartz hill high school, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 241 / POS: 52
From 10/11/25: “Anaya made his debut on the Prep Baseball California event platform in his backyard by attending the High Desert Uncommitted Game. The short trip gave Anaya the opportunity to showcase everything I saw from in a live look during the 2025 CIF-Southern Section High School season. Checking in at 5'10 147.9 lbs at present Anaya is wiry in build, but strong on talent as a baseball player who possesses solid tools across the board. Running a 7.4 60 yard time which will get faster as he adds strength onto his wiry frame at present while showing an accurate smooth 80 MPH INF arm which plays in workouts, but even better in game with his quick transfer and confidence throwing from different angles he looks the part of a long term INF defender with solid to strong ability. As much as I like what Anaya does on the defensive side of the game it was the high level consistency to his offensive ability that really stood out for me on the day. During BP the RH hitter lived up the middle to the opposite field with a compact swing that produced 21.4 MPH hand speed, 66 MPH bat speed while rotating with 17.3 Gs of rotational acceleration in the turn. Anaya produced a 63% sweet spot rate while peaking at 91.2 MPH on his max exit velocity spraying line drives all over the field. His profile is strongly trended towards a present hit tool which played in game with multiple hits all working from the middle to opposite side of the field with hard contact. Anaya boasts present high level baseball ability with plenty to dream on about his physical frame/athleticism in the future that can still be developed that gives you more to dream on about an already strong player from the high desert.” |

Brody Kaylor SS / RHP / Buena High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 154 / POS: 35
From 3/20/25: “Kaylor jumped out quickly to me in the first look at him back in November of 2024 and now in my third look at him he continues to convince me of the quality of that first look, but also adds more intrigue with each viewing. During INF/OF I made a point to get up the line and watch his throws from SS to see the ball flight from what projects as a solid arm (up to 89 MPH on the mound) and he showed low carry out of the hand with a true ball flight (no fade into the ground, tail to arm side or cut to glove side) with feel to throw from different slots. Then during the game the 6’2” Kaylor showed his athleticism and comfort playing downhill to both his glove side and throwing hand side which is necessary for any player to stick at SS. Three times he went to the throwing hand side downhill on medium pace grounders and fielded them cleanly with a quick transfer and ability to redirect his body with his feet to uncork an accurate throw with carry for outs. The throwing hand side play is a vital one for a HS SS to project to potentially stay there at the college level and Kaylor is convincing me he has this type of profile. His day wasn’t loud at the dish showing some rawness against lower velocity from a LHP early in the game, but did make a quality adjustment in his final trip against firmer velocity from a RHP to uncork on a foul HR to LF and then stung a drive to straight-away CF which would have gone for extra bases, but was run down by the Bonnie CF. All in all even without a loud results day from Kaylor I left the park feeling his profile continues to tick up.” |

Jacob Quintero SS / 3B / Ridgeview High, CA / 2028From 9/26/25: “In what was a breakout performance for the Bakersfield based product Quintero used the showcase workout to announce his presence before shining throughout the gameplay portion. The shortstops defensive workout was one of the most impressive of the day with clean, smooth actions that have a natural grace to them while putting 85 MPH INF velocity throws right on the 1Bs chest from all different angles/arm slots. A loose mover all over he clocked a present 7.3 range 60 time which will improve as he adds strength to his lengthy 6' 147 lbs. frame that has grace in everything he does on the baseball field. His batting practice was impressive for the simplicity and consistency of his operation while producing intriguing present metrics. The RH hitter has a smooth swing with present hand speed and bat speed (21.4 MPH hand speed and 70.1 MPH bat speed) while a natural feel for being on time with his barrel at contact. Quintero posted a max exit velocity up to 95.6 MPH while averaging 90.1 MPH throughout his round with a 67% hard hit rate and a 349' max distance. The well rounded profile for Quintero is intriguing not just for its present performance during the workout, but even more so for the upside it presents as he fills his frame out with strength.” |

Dane Disney OF / SS / Oaks Christian, CA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 65 / POS: 15
From 4/3/25: “Disney made the jump to the varsity level after starting on the JV level early this spring for the Lions and was inserted into the starting lineup for this series in the CF spot. A compact athletically built LH hitter who flashes intriguing athleticism especially with the burst in his run tool this was my first ever look at Disney. Defensively he profiles to stay in CF with a quick first step and range to cover laterally, inward and rearward, but does have some rawness in his live reads against higher level hitters that will improve as he gets more reps. The arm is decent at present, but did flash solid carry and life out of the hand which could project at least a solid future profile. At the plate I came away interested in his operation in the box with present quickness to his hands, bat speed and turn of the lower ½ which was able to handle upper 80’s touching 90 MPH velocity to put the bat on the ball. Disney’s stroke is compact with a flatter path through the zone which profiles well with his apparent high end run tool to work the middle of the field with line drive contact. He drew a BB in his first plate appearance remaining disciplined to not chase out of the zone against high quality velocity, in his second trip to the dish he got the barrel on an inner half FB and hit a solid grounder up the middle that was turned into an out. The final trip to the dish for the LH hitter showed how his run tool can impact his offensive profile when he chopped a grounder off a sinker from the TO arm, but beat it out for an INF 1B. The overall profile for Disney is more athlete with raw tools, but if he can polish those tools to play well against high level competition going forward he is going to a be name to know in the 2028 class for an Oaks Christian program that is loaded with some intriguing young talent.” |
|
Oliver Dauskurdas OF / RHP / Oaks Christian, CA / 2028From 9/26/25: “The third member of the Oaks Christian trio came into the event with plenty of hype and Dauskurdas more than lived up to it during the workout. Measuring in with an impressive 6'3 194.5 lbs. frame Dauskurdas is not only physical at present, but boasts the length/room in his frame to continue adding strength as he matures. Then for good measure he is an intriguing athlete who may have CF defensive potential in his profile including running a 6.96 60 with 1.65 10 yard and 3.89 30 yard splits while reaching 20 MPH with his max run speed. Dauskurdas shows arm strength from the OF peaking at 88 MPH which will suit him fine in the corners if that is where his eventual OF defensive home finds him. No matter where that defensive spot is the RH bat for Oliver is projecting to be a middle of the order profile. During batting practice Oliver reached 97.6 MPH on his max exit velocity (Top 10 for players from California in attendance) with upward trending metrics for his swing including now 24.9 MPH of hand speed and 75.6 MPH of bat speed. Each of those three metrics are personal bests for the SoCal based product plus he posted 11 Gs of rotational acceleration another personal best.” |
|
Kole (KJ) Henrich C / OF / Oaks Christian, CA / 2028From 9/26/25: “With a trio of Oaks Christian based Soph. in attendance that stood out during the workout portion of the day the least heralded of the group may have put on the best performance of the three. Henrich is a standout soccer player on top of his rising profile on the baseball diamond and his athleticism showed up during the defensive/athletic workout. KJ posted 6.86 60 yard sprint time (good for second best amongst the California players in attendance) with 1.66 10 yard and 3.85 30 yard splits to go with a 20.3 MPH max run speed. While his primary spot at present is catcher the athletic ability for Henrich would play well in any of the three OF spots. His defensive workout was intriguing showing off present arm strength with strong mechanics behind the dish including a pop time as low at 1.99 seconds and then an 81 MPH arm velocity from the OF. No matter where Henrich winds up defensively what he did during the batting practice portion of the day (which carried into gameplay) showed his bat is going to profile to the middle of an order with impact. Henrich posted the second highest max exit velocity at 100.6 MPH while averaging 92.4 MPH throughout his round with an intriguing 72% hard hit rate from a swing with an uphill path geared for line to line hard contact in the air.” |
|
Miles Herbert SS / 2B / San Marcos Senior High, CA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 207 / POS: 42
From 10/11/25: “Herbert made the 2+ hour drive from the Central Coast of California out to the High Desert to be apart of the event. Athletically built at 5'11 161.8 lbs. Herbert boasts a strong set off tools across the board that all showed up during the workout. He opened the day showing off sound present running ability to clock at 7.0 60 yard time (which translates into game action), athletic actions moving around at SS showing natural confidence to play downhill with one hand, feel to throw on the run and the ability to stick his foot in the ground while throwing accurately with a 84 MPH INF arm. At the plate his swing has intent in the operation showing strong present Blast Motion metrics with 22.8 MPH of hand speed (third in event), 77.4 MPH bat speed (tops in the event) and 22.4 Gs of rotational acceleration in the turn (fourth in the event). The path for Herbert works uphill looking to drive the ball in the air to the middle of the field and with his present bat speed, ability to rotate and strong barrel feel he produces some intriguing present contact metrics on Trackman. Herbert tied for second with a 99.7 MPH max exit velocity and 369' max distance while averaging 90 MPH on his EVs throughout his rounds. With the uphill path he can top the ball at times with top spin, but when he connects through the bottom half the ball jumps and as he continues to develop his consistency for that contact point there is intriguing impact in the offensive profile During the game play portion of the event Herbert showed off his feel for defense taking charge moving around the INF to defend at a strong level at multiple spots, but looks to be a long term strong SS profile defender. At the dish he used his athleticism/burst to beat out a pair of INF hits including one where he posted a top level 4.14 seconds home to 1B time.” |
|
Dru Wilson OF / RHP / Notre Dame, CA / 2028From 2/18/25: “In a day of baseball loaded with talented players on each roster from both JSerra and Notre Dame the youngest player on the field may have stolen the show for me. Hitting in the leadoff spot and manning CF the advanced athletic ability with solid present wiry strength showed up in a variety of different ways. At the plate he collected a pair of singles (line drive rocket to LF / INF single in 2K count), drew a walk and then used his top end run speed (4.05 - 4.2 H-1B speed) to force an error from the Lions 3B and came around to score. The swing has intriguing present bat speed with consistent bat to ball in the profile which projects to add power as he learns to tap into the leverage in his bat path against varsity level pitching. On the defensive side it was impressive performance in CF showing range to both sides and ability to come in/go back on the ball that profiles as an impact defender and he adds a potential impact throwing arm which showed up on a pair of strong throws with accuracy in game. In the first inning he uncorked a strong online throw home which barely missed recording an out at the plate on a bang bang play and then followed it up later in the game with a similar throw to third base with another bang bang play. It’s easy to see why the talented RH hitting CF is in a prominent spot for the strong Notre Dame program and will be a must see player for college programs in the near future, plus potentially MLB scouts down the road.” |

Colton Dunwoody RHP / 1B / Royal, CA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 61 / POS: 12
From 9/26/25: “A two-way product who showed solidly well as a RH hitting corner INF product with exit velocities that are approaching the 100 MPH mark Dunwoody present some intrigue with that side of the game. Yet, for as much as you may like his offensive profile it's what the 6'1 181.4 lbs. Dunwoody showed the type of pitching profile that could be destined for a high level once his high school career wraps up. Dunwoody toed the rubber for a strong multiple inning look where he collected multiple strikeouts with minimal hard contact against him. His FB fronts the arsenal living at 82-84 MPH and touching the 85 MPH range with a smooth lower effort operation that looks the part of a long term starter. Dunwoody controlled the offering in the zone at a solid level. On the secondary side he mainly utilized a 73-77 MPH sweepy SLD which when thrown in the zone locked up hitters for strikes or induced whiff/chase when they could pull the trigger. He mixed in the occasional mid 70's CHG, but predominantly focuses on a north/south attack between his FB-CB combination.” |
