Colby Shade has it made.

At least, it’s all in front of the Fort Collins outfielder.

He’s part of a Lambkins returning group this prep spring season that started five freshmen a year ago. He and others feel strongly that this may be the year the Lambkins can take back the city of Fort Collins from crosstown-rival and perennial Class 5A power Rocky Mountain.

And he’s one of the only two Coloradans to commit to high-end baseball from the 2020 Class.

Shade, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound center fielder, committed last week to Virginia. Cherry Creek’s Jack Moss had pledged to the Cavaliers on Nov. 5.
