Tampa, FL - Thursday night featured a high powered matchup between two of the most talented teams in the Tampa Bay area in JW Mitchell and Berkeley Prep. Both teams featured two of the top 2023s in the state in Aidan Miller and Cade Kurland, and they did not disappoint.

On the mound for Mitchell was 2022 LHP Ashton Crowther (Miami). Crowther is a tall, lanky southpaw at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. Crowther comes from a long ¾ arm slot that can be deceptive to hitters. Sat mostly 86-87 with the fastball but his 77-80 mph wipeout slider has a chance to be a plus pitch. Crowther would go 5 innings allowing 2 runs with 5 strikeouts.
