Kansas Class of 2026 Rankings Update: Winter Editon
March 28, 2025
As the spring season begins, the Prep Baseball Kansas staff has once again updated the state’s 2026 rankings. We have our biggest update to date after our loaded preseason showcase season. We saw over 200 talented juniors expanding our list from 200 to 250 players with the addition of over 60 names.
It is important to note in an update this large, there are players that may decline in total rank even with improvement and passing some peers simply due to the number of names added. For an in-depth look at how we put our rankings together, click HERE.
Notable changes to this rankings include a 13 prolific risers and seven newcomers in the top 100.

Zane Shaw RHP / C / Lawrence Free State, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 4
Up 8 spots in this rankings, the right-hander was electric and in complete control during his February ‘pen at the Engaged Athletics Scout Day. Shaw saw his FB hold at 92 mph and showed a much improved breaking ball. |

Grey Sanders RHP / 3B / Mulvane, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 5
Sanders made a big velo jump last year, but it is his increased command and repeatability that he showed at the MOKAN Preseason All-State that see him move up 13 spots in this edition of the rankings. |

Mac Solis SS / 3B / Shawnee Mission South, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 26 / POS: 6
Few players in the state made a physical transformation like Mac Solis. The left-side infielder showed much improved arm and barrel strength at the Prime and Precision Scout Day. Solis is up over 40 spots. |

Nick Poste RHP / 1B / Blue Valley West, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 8
The righty is up over 30 spots after seeing an increase not only in his velo, but command as well. Poste commanded the zone at 88-90 in his pen at the Prime and Precision Scout Day. |

Arthur Rolle OF / LHP / Life Prep, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 36 / POS: 5
One of the top two-way players in the state, Rolle shows tools in every part of the game as a position player and then jumps on the mound with an athletic delivery and runs his fastball up to 87 from the left side. Roll is up over 60 spots after the Wichita Preseason ID. |

Back on the diamond, Kamden Dick did more than pick up where he left off with an impressive performance as a two-way at the KC Preseason ID, pushing his name up almost 20 spots. |

Cobb made huge gains on both sides of the ball, but maybe more impressive than his 99 mph exit velo was the command of a FB up to 87 and a big breaking ball. |

The athletic middle infielder gets better each time we see him. Strong defensive actions and explosive speed make him a high follow. Up over 30 spots. |

Warkins is one of the more physical prospects in the state, Warkins was impressive on both sides of the ball at the Wichita Preseason ID. On the mound, the 6-foot-3 205-righty showed he could command the zone with an upper 80s fastball and a near 12/6 curveball. |

The 6-foot-2 righty jumps into our rankings just outside of the top 50 after showing a fastball up to 86 at the Wichita Preseason ID. It's not just the frame and velo though, the ease of movement promises much more to come. |

An uber physical two-way prospect, Jensen is more than capable on the offensive side of the ball, but shined brightest at the Wichita Preseason ID on the mound where he was into the upper 80s. |
