Six months ago, OF Josh Magee (Franklinton HS, LA) was frustrated and unsure of where his baseball career was headed. The recruiting process was going slowly and he wasn’t getting the offers he expected. By this time, his peers knew where they were going and were focused on the season ahead.

“It was really slow,” Magee said. “I didn’t pick up my first offer until this year and it was a junior college.

“I did think it was frustrating. I talked to my coach a lot about it, about what I need to do. What am I not doing? It was frustrating because I worked so hard to get there. And it wasn’t happening for me.”
