Prep Baseball Missouri Staff

The Missouri high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 20, opening day for regular season action under MSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Missouri Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach’s Insight: “Our lineup brings back key pieces from last year’s state championship run, providing a strong offensive foundation. With a mix of power and experience, we expect to generate runs consistently. On the basepaths, our speed and aggressive approach will put pressure on opposing defenses, creating scoring opportunities and keeping the game fast-paced. As a small school, depth is always a challenge, and this season is no different. Pitching depth will be a key area to develop as we navigate a demanding schedule, giving younger arms the chance to step up so we can keep our top-of-the-rotation arms healthy and rested. Similarly, middle infield depth is a question mark, but we have players ready to compete for those roles.” – Michael Hollander, head coach
