Charlotte Catholic Secures 6-4 Victory Over Christ the King in Baseball for Life Classic
Jack Hughes Park – February 28, 2025
In the final game of the Baseball for Life Classic, Charlotte Catholic edged past Christ the King with a 6-4 victory on Friday night. Despite managing only three hits, Christ the King capitalized on key opportunities to push across four runs. However, the Cougars' offense, led by Alex Hoffman and Paul Greeley with two RBIs each, proved too much to overcome.
Charlotte Catholic relied on 2026 right-hander Alex Hoffman, who showcased his high-velocity arsenal, sitting in the low 90s and touching 95 mph during his second of three innings on the mound.
