PBR was on and for the Holly Springs Salamander Spring Break Tournament in Holly Springs, NC.  A beautiful facility that hosts the Salamander Coastal Plains League team as well as Wake Tech CC’s baseball team, it is all turf and will host several high school and community events throughout the year.  For spring break, the Salamanders hosted NW Guilford, Apex, Sanderson, Holly Springs, Leesville, and Fuquay-Varina.

One of the more anticipated games of the event featured Northwest Guilford and Apex.  Both 4A schools are being considered each week by the coaches across NC for the PBR/NCBCA Coaches’ Poll.  A tight game saw Apex score three late to pull away.  PBR profiled both starting pitchers, including a 2020 from Northwest.

PLUS: Three arms from the Holly Springs Tournament, including two 2020 arms with maturity still ahead.
