The BLAST Hand Speed leaderboards highlight hitters who generated the fastest barrel release during 2025 Prep Baseball events. Measured roughly six inches from the knob, hand speed captures the maximum velocity at the bat’s handle just before contact, offering a direct look at how quickly a hitter delivers the barrel to the ball.

While efficient body rotation remains critical for overall power and swing quality, elite hand speed is a key indicator of quickness, adjustability, and late-decision ability in the box.
