Round 1 NCHSAA 4A Tournament
Holly Spring’s starter, Jake Cackovic, a UNC commit, carried a perfect game into the fifth inning before a walk and then a single by Apex Friendship’s Owen Cirasole. Jake Cackovic pitched 6 innings, gave up one unearned run, with 7 strikeouts. 

Luke Hemric got the ball for Apex Friendship, a NC State commit.  Hemric kept the Hawks in check early. Holly Springs got on the board with three runs in the bottom of the third inning on two errors, an rbi single by Andrew Waldron and an rbi double by Hodge Williams.

Apex Friendship made a come back in the top of the seventh, but Holly Springs turned a double play to end the game.
