The Buckeye State is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. The 2018 class has commitments all across the United States, from Vanderbilt to Miami to Kentucky to Missouri to Nebraska and many more colleges across the U.S. When looking at the 2018 rankings, you will see plenty of Ohio colleges littered throughout all of the commitments as well.

Mitchell Spencer RHP / OF / Defiance, OH / 2018 Rankings  State Rank:72 POS:24 DEFIANCE - Lincoln Trail College has become a popular landing spot for Defiance High School baseball players. Four have gone there in the past decade including Justin Hancock, a promising pitcher with the AAA Iowa Cubs who was a ninth-round pick in the MLB Draft out of Lincoln Trail in 2011. Make it five Defiance products that have made the college in Robinson, Ill., home after a recent commitment to play for the Statesmen by senior hurler Mitchell Spencer.
