The Buckeye State is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. That happens when your father has coached you since you first began playing the game. Come next year, that will change when college baseball comes into the equation. Don Schone will get plenty of opportunity to see his son play after the Watkins Memorial senior committed to Ohio Dominican, just 25 miles from his home. “I like the aspect it’s close to home,” the senior shortstop said. “I like the campus a lot. It’s beautiful with everything close together.”
