Report: Zac Rose is a 6-foot-3 235-pound 1B/LHP in the class of 2021. Rose shows a big body that should provide some long term power projection as he continues to get stronger and is able to tap into his raw strength. At the plate Rose uses a fairly simple setup and has quiet hands during his load, which is a small hover step with his front foot. Once he gets his front foot down his hips really initiate his movement. He is able to get his barrel on plane with the pitch rather early and shows a top hand dominant swing that keeps his barrel through the zone for a long time. |
