TN: Elimination Monday

On Monday, the first of two elimination games of the week occurred. We began at Smith County for their matchup with Cumberland County and then traveled to Cookeville for their match-up with Walker Valley. Walker Valley was previously evaluated here. Belmont commit touched 91 multiple times while mixing in a swing and miss SL. Prototypical pitcher frame, tall, athletic w/ long limbs, projectable. Pitched from a H ¾ release w/ quick arm. Quick and efficient delivery, little wasted movement. Repeatable. FB flashes late arm-side run. Maintains velocity for the most part, settled in 86-88, touched 90 in the 7^th. Medium downer CB flashed tight rotation, late bite. Uses it to steal a strike. ¾ tilt SL w/ late bite, depth. Swing and miss pitch, feel for throwing it as a strikeout pitch when he wants. CH w/ arm-speed. Pounds the zone w/ 3 pitch mix, projects to command. Also hits, delivered a big double in this game to RCF, shows power to all fields w/ bat-speed.
