Pitcher Of The Week: 2017 RHP Alex Scherff (Colleyville Heritage)

Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Player Of The Week. The talent level in this state is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. This week our Pitcher Of The Week comes from the DFW Metroplex.

Alex Scherff, RHP, Colleyville Heritage HS, 2017
Texas A&M recruit. 6-foot-4, 205-pound, strong, muscular frame with broad shoulders. Friday night vs. crosstown rival Grapevine, the No. 16 ranked player in PBR Draft 100, threw a complete game no-hit shutout. Scherff was electric, facing one over the minimum, allowing one runner to reach base on a walk, and recorded eight strikeouts.
