Steward jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second and did not look back. Andrew Schmeer kick started the offense in the second inning with a two run triple and ended up going three for four and drove in four on the day to lead the Steward offense. Also, 2023 Michael Shamus had a two run triple in the sixth. Senior Mitch Larro threw an eighty pitch complete game shutout for the Spartans, scattering three hits and striking out eight.
