The Buzz: Two 2015 Righties Pop Up In Florida

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The big news in baseball this week is LHP Brady Aiken, the first overall pick in the 2014 draft, enrolled at IMG Academy, FL, and will pitch for the postgraduate team. Aiken failed to sign last year after the Astros took issue with something found in his physical when he traveled to Houston to sign last July. He now joins RHP Jacob Nix, who was affected by the saga too.

Also in Florida, two right-handers have created some buzz in the Miami area. Hector Moreta and Luis Rodriguez moved to the United States from the Dominican Republic last summer and started the school year at Calusa Prep. Both throw hard, mostly sitting in the low 90s, but their secondary stuff remains raw.
