SoCal Player of the Week: RHP/OF Jared Jones

2020 RHP Jared Jones (La Mirada HS, CA) has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance both at the plate and on the mound.
Jones went 6-for-10 with 3 HR, a triple, and a double in two games against Edison and El Toro. Jones, a USC commit, toed the rubber Saturday against one of the top teams in SoCal in El Toro. Jones went 6.1 innings striking out eight and giving up one run in a tough 1-0 loss for La Mirada.
For his efforts, Jones has been named the Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week for the week of February 26 - March 3.
