Anyone that works in baseball knows there is no offseason and with the 2014 draft complete, the attention immediately shifts to 2015. USA Baseball’s Tournament of Stars takes place this week in Cary, NC, and Prep Baseball Report will be on site to bring you coverage of the event so be on the lookout this week. Which Illinois team is look strong already for next season?
Given my national coverage, I don't get the opportunity to dive deep into team rankings in individual states as much as I would like, but some still pop up on my radar because of the talent they have. Two teams in Illinois jump to mind that could get some good attention in 2015—Joliet Catholic Academy and Mount Carmel HS.
