With the Super 60 coming up this Sunday, we wanted to take the time to highlight the players from around the state that will be in attendance. The Super 60 has evolved tremendously throughout the years, initially starting as an Illinois-only event back in 2003, to now being the premier pre-spring showcase in the entire country with players attending from all over. 

This year's roster is loaded once again, and Illinois is represented extremely well with six prospects set to attend. Continue reading below to see which players will be in attendance, along with scouting reports and video.

CJ Deckinga 3B / OF / Minooka, IL / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 11 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 320 / POS: 18 Positional Profile: 3B/OF Body: 6-4, 194 pounds. Lean, high-waisted frame with projection. Hit: RHH. Balanced upright setup, rhtyhmic hands load, short leg kick stride, utilizes lower-half. Loose and easy, feel for the barrel to the whole field, controls the zone and will take it where its pitched, big upside. 74.5 mph bat speed with 12g of rotational acceleration. Power: 100 mph max exit velocity (96.2 avg.); 383-foot max batted distance. Arm: RH. INF - 92 mph. Short, easy arm action, low 3/4 slot. Can play from multiple angles. Conor Essenburg LHP / 1B / Lincoln-Way West, IL / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 4 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 86 / POS: 11 From 1/24/25: "Essenburg was one of the top two-way players in the state last year, going on to earn a First-Team All-State selection after he hit .388 with 12 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 29 RBIs, 31 runs scored and 38 walks - along with firing 52 innings on the mound with a 10-2 record, 101 strikeouts and a 1.48 ERA. Currently ranked No. 4 in Illinois, Essenburg is also one of the most competitive players in the state, and we expect him to make plenty of noise this coming spring."

Enzo Infelise C / 3B / Providence Catholic, IL / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 10 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 318 / POS: 25 Positional Profile: C/3B Body: 6-2, 229 pounds. Strong, sturdy frame, present strength throughout. Hit: RHH. Balanced, slightly open setup, qiuet hands load, short quiet stride, utilizes strong lower-half. Loose and handsy, controls the barrel well, easy strength, balanced finish, big power to the whole field. 78.9 mph bat speed with 20g of rotational acceleration. Power: 106 mph max exit velocity (101.4 avg.); 395-foot max batted distance. Arm: RH. C - 85 mph. INF - 88 mph. C: Strong, accurate throws on the bag, high 3/4 slot, short arm action. Very athletic build with strength throughout. Hit: RHH. LH: Wider base with higher hands, gains ground towards pitcher in controlled move. RH: Controlled move to center, strong loaded position on time. LH: Very direct path, serious bat speed with blurry hands and bat, smashing rockets middle of field to pull side, impressive round. RH: Downhill, extremely fast hands and bat speed, strong hands, balanced, controls head through the swing, low line drive rockets. 71.7 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration. Quinn Schambow C / RHP / Libertyville, IL / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 5 / POS: 2 OverallRank: 133 / POS: 7 From 1/24/25: "The No. 5 ranked player in the state, Schambow was dominant in 2024 and we expect him to keep it rolling into this coming spring. He earned Third-Team All-State honors last season after hitting his way to a .418 average with 10 doubles, one triple, six home runs, 31 RBIs, 30 walks to 23 strikeouts, and seven stolen bases on the year."

Brandon Shannon RHP / McHenry, IL / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 6 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 197 / POS: 66 From 1/24/25: "The Louisville commit was one of the more dominant arms in the state last spring, earning Second-Team All-State after he tossed 60.1 innings with a 10-0 record, 82 strikeouts, 27 walks and a 1.86 ERA. Shannon has some of the best swing and miss stuff in the state, and we expect him to put up even better numbers this coming spring."
