2026 OSSAA Team Preview: Charles Page Sandites

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 23 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2026 preseason coverage continues today.

Coach’s Insight: “We have have experienced varsity players and and good team speed. ” – Scott Watkins, head coach

Outlook: The Sandites will return one of the top arms in the region at the top of their rotation with Easton Webb in 2026. That, along with a number or returners off of the squad a year ago, will give Coach Watkins numerous options in both the lineup and rotation. Expect the Sandites to put pressure on opposing teams, and for them to play their best baseball down the stretch with talented youth gaining experience throughout the spring. Coming off a 20+ win campaign in 2026, expect Sand Springs to be in the mix for a state tourney run after being battle tested in highly competitive 6A District 4.
