The annual Fall Kickoff Showcase tournament took place August 16-18 at Cooper Park on the campus of Millersville University. 

Today we continue a recap of the teams that participated and some of the top performers on each roster.

TOP PITCHING PERFORMANCES

- 2021 RHP Carter Beneigh (Seneca Valley) sat 82-85 our of a high 3/4 arm slot working solely out of the stretch. Over three innings the junior struck out six, gave up three hits and did not allow a run. Beneigh worked off of his fastball with solid command of his 11/5 breaking curveball at 67-71.

- 2022 RHP Jordan Kolenda (Avonworth) sat 76-77 out of a high 3/4 arm slot working solely out of the stretch. The 6-foot-2, 160-pound sophomore has a quick, loose arm action and an athletic frame that will carry additional strength moving forward. Kolenda also flashed the makings of a solid breaking ball with 11/5 rotation at 64-66.

TOP HITTING PERFORMANCES

- 2021 OF Logan Andreyko (North Allegheny) puts all of his 5-foot-5, 150-pound frame to good use. The left-handed hitter is a prototypical leadoff guy, putting together a string of quality at bats over the weekend. Over three games Andreyko went 2-for-7 with a walk and a hit by pitch, while barreling the baseball in a number of other at bats. 

- Uncommitted 2020 1B Shane Wockley (Moon Area) went 3-for-4 with four walks in eight plate appearances on the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound left-handed hitter had a double and a pair of RBI while showing the ability to go deep into counts and use all fields with a solid offensive approach.

- 2021 OF Joe Manesiotis (North Allegheny) went 5-for-9 on the weekend. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed hitter scored a pair of runs, swiped a pair of bags and flashed athletic actions in the outfield.
