The Opterra Solutions Invitational showcased some of the top teams and talent from across the state, with Prep Baseball was on-site to cover the action throughout the weekend.

The tournament kicked off on Thursday and concluded on Sunday.

Below are notes and videos highlighting standout performances from each team in the event.

Jarrett Wagner 2026 RHP Stratford

A big strong physical right hander that kept a talented offense off balance for most of his outing.  Attacking hitters with a Fastball/Slider mix while his FB sat 86-89 mph and his SL was 77-78 with good break and depth to it.  He starts with a balanced setup, showing good posture and a controlled leg lift, which helps maintain stability and rhythm. As they transition into the stride phase, there is solid lower-body drive, but slight inconsistency in hip rotation could affect velocity and command. The arm action is clean, with a smooth takeaway and good external rotation. At release, he gets good extension, which aids in velocity and deception. The follow-through is controlled, with a strong deceleration pattern.
