Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '25 RHP Hudson Carvalho (Issaquah).

Hudson Carvalho SS / RHP / Issaquah, WA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 15 / POS: 7 Senior Hudson Carvalho earns Washington Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing a complete game no-hitter against Lake Washington last Friday. The University of Oregon commit went 7 dominant innings, needing just 78 pitches while striking out 7 and walking 1. Carvalho is a dominant force on the mound, and is currently the 15th ranked senior in the state.
