On Feb. 23rd, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin had the second event of the 2025 winter showcase circuit with the annual West Milwaukee Preseason ID showcase at STiKS Academy in Waukesha, WI. Over 100 players made it out to this event, providing us with updated looks and a new list of players to follow in Wisconsin.

In the week that followed the showcase, we published two separate Quick Hits stories, an Upperclass and Underclass highlighting the top prospects of the event by class. We also rolled out a Statistical Analysis, bringing you a quick statistical analysis of those that participated in the event. We then dove deep into the data, looking at the pitch metrics and batted ball numbers from this event inside our Pitcher Data Dive and Position Player Data Dive stories. Today we’ll continue our post-event process by rolling out the individual scouting reports of the day, continuing with the infielder position while working our way across the diamond as the week progresses.

One of the top players at the event, OF/RHP Ben Kuglitsch (Muskego, 2026; Florida State commit) only participated in the BP portion of the position player workout. Kuglitsch is one of the top two-way players in the state with immense talent on both sides of the ball. Took one of the top rounds of the winter while running his fastball up to 94 mph on the mound.

Power: 102 mph max exit velocity (91.6 avg.); 334-foot max batted distance.
Arm: LH. OF - 90 mph. Quick arm, backspins it, accurate through the target.
Defense: Athletic actions, fluid mover, attacks the baseball, sure hands.
Athletic Testing: 6.60 runner in the 60-yard dash; 27.80-inch max vertical jump.
