January 29, 2026
With the Super 60 coming up this Sunday, we wanted to take the time to highlight the players from around the state that will be in attendance. This year's roster is loaded once again, and Wisconsin is represented extremely well with eight prospects set to attend. Continue reading below to see which players will be in attendance, along with scouting reports and video.

Dominic Santarelli 1B / St. Joseph, WI / 2026Rankings: State: #1 / Overall: #41
LSU recruit, explosive athlete standing at a physical 6-foot, 226-pounds. Offers some of the top left-handed power in the upcoming draft class, along with a surprising amount of twitch and athleticism that has really impressed especially for someone his size. One of the higher ranked prospects that will be attending and will be another opportunity for scouts to evaluate him against high-end prospects from different parts of the country. The eyes will be on the bat throughout his working and not for the eye-popping exit velos that he is more than capable of producing, as the takeaway will be how easy and natural he is able to do it. |

Tyson Grulkowski RHP / Muskego, WI / 2026Rankings State: 2 / Overall: 51
South Florida recruit, physical 6-foot-5, 226-pound frame with mature strength throughout the frame. Loose and clean arm action with arm speed and feel to spin, the in-game performance has been there since he began his prep career to pair. There’s some visual deception with the 6-foot-5 frame and the low release height around 5-foot creating some angles hitters aren’t used to seeing from an arm his size. The fastball has played in the low-90s in the past with life out of the hand and feel to locate, with more velocity seemingly on the way. The slider has always stood out as a potential out-pitch dating back to our first looks at Grulkowski, spins it at 2,800+ RPMs, approaching 3,000 RPMs on occasion with sharp and late sweeping action averaging over 20” of sweep. Has shown feel to turn over a fading changeup in the last in the low-80s to pair with a sinking fastball. More than capable of leaving the event on Sunday as one of the biggest winners and should attract plenty of attention from the scouting community leading up to the MLB Draft this July. |

Jace Mataczynski SS / Hudson, WI / 2026Rankings State: 3 / Overall: 133
Auburn recruit, standing at an upside and athletic 6-foot-3, 186-pounds with room to continue to fill out as he matures. One of the top prospects heading into the Super 60 with a ton of helium behind him heading into the event and could propel his stock into the upper-echelon of shortstop prospects this spring. True shortstop with a ceiling defensively, both with the glove and arm looking like an asset defensively at short, looks to stay at the position long term. The bat ticked up in a big way throughout 2025, the bat-to-ball, overall strength and bat speed along with the swing decisions all improved and continued to improve as the competition level increased, with consistent loud contact and big stat lines to follow. |

Colton Semmelmann LHP / Brookfield Central, WI / 2026Rankings State: 4 / Overall: 206
South Carolina recruit, standing at 6-foot-1, 191-pounds with an improving and strong frame. Smooth and clean moving left-hander that has shown feel for four different pitches in the past while flashing feel to locate in the zone over longer outings at times. The fastball has played in the low-90s in the past, flashing carry and beats hitters in the zone consistently. The curveball has been the go-to secondary, thrown in the mid-70s with bigger 11/5 action and average spin rates over 2,600 RPMs. The changeup has the potential to be a usable option for both handed batters and has gotten whiffs against left-handed hitters in the past, flashed feel for a low-80s cutter that he can locate in the zone. One of the top left-handers in the Midwest with remaining projection and a shot to start. |

Ben Kuglitsch OF / Muskego, WI / 2026Rankings State: 5 / Overall: 226
Florida State recruit, one of the top athletes in the class, standing at 6-foot-2, 182-pounds with clear room to fill in as he matures. The right-handed hitter has some promising bat-to-ball traits that play in game to pair with a ceiling defensively in the outfield as a potential above-average or better center fielder with similar quality arm tool or better. The potential for added impact at the plate remains with the frame and the overall feel to elevate and lift at the plate. The arm also translates on the mound, the right-hander has touched the mid-90s at times and could be a high-end prospect on either side of the ball. |

Ezra Liggon OF / Vel Phillips Memorial, WI / 2026Rankings State: 7 / Overall: 289
Bradley recruit, standing at 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame with clear physical projection to the frame, two-sport athlete. Upside prospect with tools that are starting to show up more often in game, left-handed hitter with a smooth and simple swing with feel to find the barrel consistently. The defense in the outfield has flashed, capable of making high-end plays at times with an arm tool that plays at every spot in the grass. Another athlete that can be considered one of the top in the class with twitch and the in-game performances had stood out multiple times during 2025. |

Jack Brenner C / Fond du Lac, WI / 2026Rankings State: 9 / Overall: 392
Oklahoma recruit, standing at 5-foot-11, 181-pounds with twitchy strength throughout his frame. Another position player from Wisconsin that could be talked about as a top athlete in the class, who also has a shot at sticking at a premium position. At the plate, the right-handed hitter swings a twitchy and explosive bat with feel to drive the ball in the air to all fields. Handsy with bat speed and tends to get his “A” swing off often throughout at-bats. Comfortable receiving and handling high-end arms and has a chance to stick behind the plate long-term with a chance of being an average or better defender with the ability to really control the run game. |

Maddux Lessard C / Muskego, WI / 2026Rankings State: 16
Minnesota recruit, physical right-handed catching prospect with a ceiling defensively. Standing at 6-foot, 195-pounds with strength throughout the frame, young for the class to pair. At the plate the right-handed hitter has strength that stands out in the box and the ball jumps off the bat when barreled. Defensively behind the plate, showing traits of being a standout catch and throw option at the next level with some history of being able to handle velo and spin defensively. |
