Mississippi State added a high-level recruit to its 2019 class with a verbal commitment from RHP/SS K.C. Hunt (Ramapo HS, NJ). Hunt, a two-time Future Games participant, is a legitimate two-way prospect with premium athleticism. He has run his fastball up to 92 mph from a 3/4 slot. At the plate, he swings from the left side with looseness and produces gap power now. Defensively, he has fluid actions and a quick, effortless exchange. Hunt is ranked No. 1 in New Jersey and previously was the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect.
