+ Luke Van Rycheghem, C, 2016
Background: Participated in our Preseason College Prospect Showcase in January. Number 2 ranked prospect in the class of 2016. Was able to see in Florida during March. Great strong catchers frame at 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, moves well with arm strength. Power from the left side. Saw 2 really good swings that resulted in a double and triple against college competition. Saw ball really well, very quiet in swing with good extension. Bat speed is evident. Looks to have a big summer. Should be a high follow for recruiters.
