Summer baseball is happening across the country and many players have turned in some standout performances the last several weeks. Below is a sampling from tournament action from places like Lakepoint, Creekside and others.

Drew Berkland, C, Wayzata HS, MN (2022)
Berkland is a 6-foot, 185-pound backstop, who had a solid showing at Creekside Baseball Park for the Northstar Baseball Club. He has a strong, athletic frame and runs a 6.7-second 60. He also shows advanced catch-and-throw abilities behind the plate. There is strength in his hands and pop in the barrel that makes him one of the best bats in Minnesota’s 2022 class. He will play for Team Minnesota-Iowa-Nebraska at the Future Games.
