Continuing our look at unsigned seniors, this week’s Hotlist looks at 2015 prospects that bring speed to the table. You can’t teach speed and these players use their asset to cover ground on defense and steal bases.

Nate Crossman, OF, Derby HS, KS
Crossman is strong and athletic and 6 feet, 190 pounds. Swinging from the right side, he can get down the line in less than 4.3 seconds and has turned in a 60 time of 6.8. He earned all-state honors in Kansas’ largest class in the spring thanks to a .479 average. He also stole 15 bases. He has a wide set-up at the plate with a short swing, level bat path and strong hands. His lower half is explosive and he generates good bat speed.
