Mizuno Player & Pitcher of the Week: Week 7

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state. Thanks to Mizuno for sponsoring both awards this season.

Let's take a look at the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for Week 7 of the 2025 spring season.

MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Landon Stanley SS / New Site, MS / 2025

The senior went 7 for 10 on the week which included 3 doubles, a home run, and 12 runs batted in for the Royals. Stanley is hitting .407 on the season with 2 home runs, 8 doubles, 2 triples, and 31 runs batted in. He is also 5-2 on the mound with a 1.30 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 43 innings pitched.

MIZUNO PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Drew Davis RHP / SS / Sumrall, MS / 2027

Davis had an ouststanding performance last week as he no hit Columbia over 7 innings with 14 punch outs. On the season the sophomore is 4-0 with a 0.62 ERA and 44 strikeouts in just 22 2/3 innings.
