A pair of top 2020s have made verbal commitments in 1B Tre’ Morgan (Brother Martin HS, LA) and OF Briar Stinson (Rushville-Industry HS, IL). Both made strong impressions at the Future Games in August. Morgan, the No. 3 prospect in Louisiana, committed to Louisiana State. He maintains balance at the plate and shows a flat path while producing bat speed and strength at contact. Stinson, also known for his prowess at the plate, committed to Kentucky. The No. 2 prospect in Illinois, he has advanced bat speed and a short, simple swing from the right side. He has an aggressive, gap-to-gap approach with future power potential.
