On Thursday, August 7th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Blinn College in Brenham TX to host the South Texas Uncommitted Games, an event for uncommitted 2026 & 2027 prospects.

Over 70 Players made their way to Blinn and participated in a pro-style workout followed by gameplay, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we will be looking at the top performers from the day.

Jamie Chipman | Academy HS | 2027 | RHP/1B
Projectable build/frame with room to add strength. Has run sub-6.8 in the past, though not on this day. Defensively at 1B, can firm both footwork and hands. Plus arm strength. At the plate, drives the baseball hard, high, and far. Aggressive swinger who doesn’t get cheated. Power-over-hit profile with opportunities to refine approach. On the mound, has been up to 93 in the past. Shows downhill plane with life to the FB to both sides of the plate; commanded the FB well in this outing. Present feel for the breaking ball. Athletic with a projectable body, quick arm, and repeatable delivery. Will throw harder. Power-4 RHP who will draw scouting attention his senior year.

Jaxon Dotson | Twelve Homeschool | 2026 | MIF
Smooth infield actions at SS and 2B. Avg HS arm. Plays with energy, hustles, and makes plays. Shows barrel control for consistent contact; hit-over-power profile. Puts together solid ABs in game play. Will add needed strength. Plus makeup.

Arturo “DJ” Aranda Jr. | Eagle Pass HS | 2027 | MIF
Athletic with a 6.98 60 on a slow track; plus runner. Defensively shows fluid actions and quickness. Solid avg HS arm with the ability to throw on the move and from multiple angles. Surprising pop, showing pull-side power. Quality hitting approach. Will add needed strength.

Derek Hernandez | Oak Ridge HS | 2026 | MIF/OF
Strong build with room for more strength. Feet work well on the infield; hands can be firmer. Consistent hard contact in BP and a pair of hard-hit balls in game action. Plays hard and communicates on the field—high-energy teammate and tough opponent. Solid tools.

Benjamin Eggert | Clear Falls HS | 2026 | C/INF
Good frame to add strength. Capable receiver with above-avg HS raw arm strength behind the plate. Receives well in-game. Produced a hard-hit single to LF. Bat speed present, ball comes off the barrel well. Upside bat with future impact potential.

Wyatt Jost | Wall HS | 2026 | OF/RHP
Projectable build/frame. 7.03 60 on a slow track. Solid defender in the OF with avg HS raw arm strength that should improve. Consistently finds the barrel, flashing pull-side power. Hit approach can be tightened. Athletic with upside.

Cody Sawyer | Kingwood HS | 2027 | INF
Strong frame with room for more. Feet work with fair quickness, likely limiting him to a corner spot. Can firm hands; projects as an avg defender with the glove. Avg HS raw arm strength. Quality approach at the plate, solid swing, and line-drive contact.

Collins Turner | Tomball Memorial HS | 2027 | INF
Solid build with more strength coming. Active feet on the infield. Glove tap present; tends to field the ball deep but can refine to develop solid hands. Overall, clean actions. Balanced setup and load with a pull-oriented swing. Opportunity to develop gap-to-gap power.

Bentley Blinka | Victoria East HS | 2026 | 3B/OF
Prototypical corner profile at 6’2” 190 with present strength and room for more. 7.09 60. Feet work; fields a bit deep but makes plays. Will develop into a solid defender. Consistently hits balls hard; refining lower-half usage will increase impact. Athletic with power projection.

Preston Farragut | Dallas Jesuit Prep | 2027 | INF/OF
Projectable build/frame with room for strength. Shows defensive versatility. Solid infield actions and moves well to the ball in the OF. Avg HS raw arm strength. Switch hitter with a balanced approach from both sides; consistent line-drive contact. Plays hard, finds the barrel, and offers positional flexibility.

Myles Lewis | Summer Creek HS | 2026 | 1B/OF
Strong, physical frame at 6’1” 200 with room to add more. Moves well for size (7.17 60). Solid footwork at 1B; can firm hands. Steady defender in the OF. Avg HS raw arm strength with room to improve. Hits the ball hard consistently; aggressive swing with present raw power.

Cameron Streiff | Victoria East HS | 2026 | INF/OF
Projectable frame with room for added strength. Shows raw power with hard contact in-game. Quality ABs. Defensively can refine footwork and hands. Has bat speed and strength to impact the baseball.

Ethan Baylis | Memorial HS | 2026 | INF
Strong, physical frame at 6’2” 206 with continued growth potential. Solid footwork defensively; hands can be firmer. Avg HS raw arm strength. Gap-to-gap approach with consistent hard contact. Balanced swing with hit ability.

Sebastian Avila | Dayton HS | 2026 | INF
Solid build with present strength and room for more. Moves fine defensively; can refine footwork and hands. Developing into a steady defender. Avg raw arm strength. Hard contact in BP with pull power.

Garner Rodriguez | Central Heights HS | 2026 | 1B/RHP
Tall, lean 6’7” 210 frame with significant strength projection. Moves well for size. Hands can be firmer defensively. Shows hard contact off the barrel; will become more consistent with added physical strength and improved lower-half use. Big upside.

Zachary Wood | Dayton HS | 2026 | C
Strong frame with room to add more. Solid receiver who handled pitchers well in-game. Plus raw arm strength; 1.83–2.00 workout pop times. Pull-side pop in BP with length to swing. Catch-and-throw profile with potential in-game power.

Bernard Amann Jr. | Salado HS | 2026 | C
Strong, projectable frame. Solid in-game receiver with plus raw arm strength (1.87–2.00 pops in workout). Did not see game reps but profiles as a defensive asset behind the plate.

Garet Hackenbruch | Atascocita HS | 2027 | RHP
Projectable build/frame. FB up to 91, working 88–90 with tailing arm-side life. Slider shows depth and swing-and-miss potential. Pounded the zone. Velocity likely to climb.

Parker Davis | Boerne Samuel V Champion HS | 2026 | LHP
Strike-thrower with feel to pitch. Solid delivery and clean arm action from a lower slot. Commands FB to both sides of the plate and elevates effectively. Slider shows sweep/slurvy action. Knows how to pitch.

Westin McDaniel | Lake Travis HS | 2027 | RHP
Tall, projectable frame at 6’3” 180. FB up to 89 with avg life (spin up to 2400). Slider with present spin and 12–5 break when executed. Needs to firm release. Solid delivery and arm action. High upside.

Collier Carroll | Calallen HS | 2026 | LHP
Projectable build/frame. Strike-thrower with feel to pitch. FB works to both sides with arm-side life. CH shows turnover action with developing deception. CB with fair spin and early break. Avg strike thrower.
