The East Coast Super Sophomore Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2029 prospects.
Players will also receive maximum visibility from college coaches all over the country, in addition to being promoted through the Prep Baseball multimedia platforms.
Each state's team will play 3 games. On Friday, the first day of the event, all position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice and be evaluated defensively at their primary position.
Players participating in the Super Sophomore Games will receive the Prep Baseball Tech Package which includes TrackMan hitting and pitching metrics, Blast Motion swing metrics and running times.
Prep Baseball and Mizuno are partnered to provide players quality products at our youth and high school-aged events across the country – and the Super Sophomore Games will be no different. Players will be given Mizuno baseball gear to wear during the four-day event.

ROSTERS
Prep Baseball state directors used Preseason ID showcases over the winter to begin developing a list of players to consider inviting to participate at the 2026 Super Sophomore Games and will continue to track players at summer showcases. Each state will be using the spring's high school season and the early summer's events like the Top Prospect Games to further fill out the roster that will represent his state at Wake Forest in early August. Rosters will update on this page as the season rolls on and we get closer to the 2026 Super Sophomore Games.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
