2025 AAA Player of the Week: Week One

We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Monday night.
Each week, we meticulously review box scores and submissions from high school coaches to select our Player of the Week. The opening week of action featured several standout performances, but one player rose above the rest.
After analyzing the numbers and coach submissions, INF/RHP Landon Schaefer (Fayetteville, 2025; Arkansas) earns our Week One Player of the Week honors.
The Arkansas commit was as dominant as you could be in an Opening Day doubleheader sweep against Springdale, throwing a six-inning no-hitter in game one with 10 strikeouts and just two walks. At the plate, Schaefer was just as impressive, going a combined 4-for-7 with two triples, a home run, and six RBIs between the two games.
