2025 CHSAA Players of the Week: March 24-29
March 31, 2025
Each week during the high school season, the Prep Baseball Colorado staff will be announcing our 'Player of the Week' award for that particular week. Numerous players from across the state continue to perform and put up numbers on a week-to-week basis, though only one athlete can take home the 'hitter' or 'pitcher' award each week. Below you'll see which players have earned our 'Player of the Week' honors this spring season.
NOTE: These submissions were provided from high school coaches and others from around our state. If you are a interested in nominating a player, please contact Marc Wagner ([email protected]).

HITTER OF THE WEEK:

Tate Deal SS / OF / Arvada West, CO / 2025Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 2
One of the most impressive single games from a hitter so far this spring has to be from Tate Deal and his performance last week against Vista Peak. Deal ripped a triple during his first at-bat of the game and never looked back as the next few plate appearances ended in a double and a homerun for the shortstop. The 2023 Future Games alumni needed just a single coming into his fourth at-bat for a cycle on the day, and ended up unloading for his second homerun of the game. The final line for Deal in this one was 4 for 4 with 2 homeruns, a triple, a double, 6 RBI, and 3 runs scored. The Evansville commit has one of the top offensive outputs to begin the season and should be a fun watch the rest of the way for his competitive 5A program (hitting .619 with 5 2B, 3B, 3 HR across his first 24 plate appearances).
