Neil Devlin From the Colorado Dugout: Interview with Cale Lansville and Riley Cornelio

Neil Devlin
Senior Writer

No doubt, Colorado kids love baseball.

Some even are getting into loving international baseball.

One local got to participate out of the country and another is closing in on his chance.

ThunderRidge sophomore Cale Lansville made the U.S. Under-15 team that won a gold medal playing in Panama and Pine Creek senior Riley Cornelio is a step away from making the cut for the U-18 team.

Obviously, it’s a different kind of excitement for a couple of Colorado teenagers, the only locals in an exclusive mix.

“It was the best experience of my life,” the 6-foot, 165-pound Lansville said.
